Arcuate fasciculus
The arcuate fasciculus is a bundle of fibers that connects the expressive (i.e., Broca’s area) and receptive (i.e., Wernicke’s area) language areas, playing a key role in repetition, interpretation, and control of speech. It extends from the posterior temporal lobe to the posterior inferior prefrontal lobe.
