Temporal lobe

The temporal lobe is a part of the cerebral cortex that is involved in the processing of sensory input. It is located at the bottom of the brain. The temporal consists of the auditory cortex and therefore plays a role in language and sound processing. Moreover, the temporal lobe functions in the formation of visual memories and processing of olfactory information.
