Middle cerebellar peduncle

The middle cerebellar peduncle is the largest of the three peduncles. Afferent fibers include the cortico-ponto-cerebellar tract, fibers that arise in the contralateral pontine grey. Most of the input comes from cortical association areas, so the pathways help us answer the question: “Where do I want to be?”
