Narrative

A narrative signifies a focused verbal presentation which describes temporally organized events, i.e. it tells a story of types. Types of narratives include historical, traditional, and personal narratives, myths, folktales, fables, and humorous stories.

The Open Language Archives Community (OLAC) standards also term this "narrative."
