Adjectives
The main syntactic pattern for the use of adjectives is that they follow the noun that they modify. As a general rule, adjectives usually consist of a radical and a suffix, or else a doubled radical. The suffixes used to form adjectives include:
- པོ་ Positive
- པ་ Comparative
- ཤོས་ Superlative and intensive
- པ་ལ་ Admirative
- དྲགས་ Excessive
- ཙམ་ Attenuative
- ཐག་ཆོད་ or སའི་ Intensives
- ལོས་ Interrogative
- Various expressive suffixes
