When objects are being enumerated, the connective བྱས་, derived from the verb “to do,” is commonly interposed between the items in the series.

• སྤགས་བྱས། ལུག་ཤ་བཙོས་པ་བྱས། དེ་ནས་ཞོ་བྱུང་ན་འགྲིག་གི་མིན་འགྲོ། “Kneaded tsampa, boiled mutton; then with some yogurt, that should be enough.”
• ཤ་འབྲས་གཅིག་བྱས། བཞེས་ཐུག་གཅིག་བྱས། ཨ་ནི་མོག་མོག་གནང་རོགས་གནང་། “Please give us one stew, one soup, and some momo.”
