During Bhutanese festivals, a religious ritual of exorcism is often performed. After the evil forces have been driven away, a warrior's dance of victory is often performed by a village man. The man wears a traditional warrior costume and armory and wields a sword to perform the dance with a set choreography. The recitation is done while the dance is performed.
