Homily

Beside the folk poetic compositions of lozey ballads, tsangmo poems, songs, proverbs, etc. Bhutan has a tradition of writing poems, particularly among the educated elites. Some of the poems composed in traditional Bhutan are heartfelt advices or instructions written in order to exhort the target audience to do or eschew something. They often contain instructions on morality, spirituality and life skills.
