Religious Object Smithery

Gold smithery and silver smithery are used to produce a wide range of religious artefacts including oboes, horns, ritual vase, skull shape containers, offering bowls, etc. The Bhutanese artists were very skilled in producing silver and gold artefacts used in religious rituals. This artistic tradition is still thriving as there is ever increasing market for religious objects made from precious metal.
