The art of embriodery is thriving in Bhutan. Beautiful art works of Buddhist iconographic figures are produced through embriodery. Beside religious embriodery, the narrow scarves women wear in official places and the boots which men wear during ceremonial functions are also decorated through embriodery. People also use embriodery to produce many decorative hangings and mask dance costumes using embriodery.
