The Baram (Bhramu) are an ethnic group of Nepal who speak a Tibeto-Burman language of the same name. According to the 2001 census of Nepal, 342 people speak Baram as a mother tongue and there are 7,383 ethnic Baram. (Mark Turin – June 01, 2004)
