According the tantric system practised in Bhutan, the 25th day of Bhutanese lunar month is considered to be a day of the ḍākinis or spiritual beings who assist a practitioner. As the ḍākinis are supposed to gather on this day, prayers, invocation and tshog offering to the ḍākinis made on this day. Practitioners also conduct the meditation practice associated with the ḍākinis on this day.
