Kurmed Dialect

Chochangacha is a Central Bodish language surrounded by languages belonging to other groups. It is a Bhutanese language which has highest resemblance to Classical Tibetan. Due to geographic segragation, the different places where this language is spoken has different dialects. The Kurmed dialect is spoken in the lower parts of Kurtoe district on both sides of the Kurichu river.
