Throwing Pointed Branch

The game of Jyidum, like that of soksom, is played by the farmers in the past by using easily available raw materials from the immediate surrounding. Cowherders often play this game during holidays as this does not need much preparation. They cut branches of trees and sharpens the ends to form sharp pointed prongs. These stickes with sharp points are thrown at a target in swirlling manner. The players would form two teams and throw two sticks each player at a target which is set at about 20 yards. They score points by either hitting the target or having the stick stuck in the close proximity of the target.
