The stories of games and matches are often retold in Bhutanese communities. If two villages had an archery match and one team had an extraordinary victory, the victors often go on to tell the stories of their victory for many years to come. The unusual feats of a player during a match is also memorialized and retold innumerable times. However, there is not tradition of keeping historical records of the sporting events and the performance of the players.
