Public School

Public schools refer to schools that receive at least part of their funding from local or state governments. They are run by local school-boards and must adhere to government-mandated educational standards. They do not charge tuition. Young people are assigned a school based on where they live, and they are required to attend that school unless they make arrangements to meet the state’s educational requirements in another way.
