In-School Suspension

In-school suspension refers to a school-based disciplinary action in which a student is temporarily excluded from classes and other school functions and must instead report to a specified area for a predetermined amount of time. Often, a classroom is designated for in-school suspension and students will remain there throughout the school day. This suspension from school activities takes place for a predetermined amount of time, after which the student is reintegrated into the school community.
