Lobe of the cerebellum consisting of the nodule and the flocculus located on the antero inferior surface of the cerebellum. The two flocculi are connected to the nodulus by thin pedicles, a midline structure. It is connected to the vestibular nuclei to use information about head movement to influence eye movement. It is also involved in maintaining balance and muscle tone.
